When you first join Facebook you are given a choice of opening a personal or business profile. If you've joined Facebook for marketing reasons you may think a business profile is the way to go. Wrong. A personal profile is most likely your best bet. A business profile is for people who want to manage like pages or advertising campaigns. If this is all you are looking to do, then by all means, open a business profile. If you want to generate traffic, then a personal profile is what you want.
A business profile does not allow you to add friends. You simply cannot send or receive friend requests. Business profiles are very limited. If you ONLY intend to manage Like pages, then yes, a business profile is for you.
Otherwise, open a personal profile. You can manage everything, including like pages, and advertising with your personal profiles. Be aware that having more than one FB profile is against their TOS. Better safe than sorry - open only one account

Getting Traffic to Your Website
One of the hardest parts of building an online presence is getting traffic to your website. If you are a developer of websites and want to maintain a successful business online, you need to find ways to help you acquire the necessary traffic to their websites. Maybe you need MLM leads, new customers or just more visiblity.

Spanish Article Marketing
Article marketing is a popular and proven method of marketing your site or service. It's also a powerful way to get traffic and build links to your site.
With a growing interest in the Spanish language market and the US Hispanic demographic, Spanish article marketing has piqued the interest of online marketers.
Unfortunately, while there are hundreds (if not thousands) of English language article directories, Spanish language article directories are hard to come by. Only a handful are well known, and the concept itself is still foreign within Spanish language marketing circles.
I've decided to give Spanish article marketing a try with one of my new sites, a Spanish language site focused on "ropa al por mayor". =)

I'm not sure why I didn't consider monetizing some parts of my sites with Superpages.com. To be honest, I was not aware they had an affiliate program called LocalServe.
Recently, I discovered this local directory affiliate program while working on a new project with a friend. This is how I realized that the Superpages affiliate program would be a great fit for one of my sites.
This affiliate program is a good fit for any sites that are either focused on a specific geographic region or somehow help visitors locate businesses.
My site for example, is a bad credit car loan website that helps consumers with bad credit find an auto loan. It was a great fit for me -- this program allowed me to offer my visitors the ability to search for local car dealers.
Here's how it works....

This is a 2-tier program. This means you can also earn 5% by simply referring other webmasters to the affiliate program --- and you can refer as many sites as you would like. There is no limit to how much you can earn.
